The Models for the Beauty and the Beast Unit
The models for the "Beauty and the Beast Unit", Bosses of MGS 4.
Lyndal Jarvis
Scarlett Chorvat
Mieko Rye
Yumi Kikuchi
Omg, what have they done?!
Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock is one of the most anticipated games right now. After news of Guitar Legends, Slash and Tom Morello will appear in this game, and more epic songs to be played, the game's hot..
This pic made it hotter.
Features Guitar Hero's Axel Steel with a new unlockable design, only to look like one of Metal's greatest guitarist, and my greatest influence in guitar playing.
Dimebag Darrell.

Beauty and The Beast Unit - Bosses of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot
Being a big MGS fan for a long time, I always tell Zani that the highlights of all MGS games definitely: the Bosses. Following their history of the most Iconic game bosses, Konami has finally revealed their most eccentric yet: The Beauty and The Beast unit. Their names are a tribute to the classic Bosses of the original Metal Gear Solid in the Playstation.
It is also revealed that they are women suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and are only able to cope with the monstrosities of war is to become monsters themselves.
Plus, they are modelled after real woman models. Coolness!

Dan had his song 're-vamped'.
'Mona', Dan's dedication to his girlfriend was aired yesterday in DJ Anna's program in 90.7 Kristal FM. DJ Anna is awesome to listen to.
The song was awesome, after my 'honest' critique on the acoustic version (aired last week) I knew a 'punk' change over would lighten it up.
Some time before Dan's song aired, the Snakes (IMTS) song 'Sunshine' was played and it is the most hip song I've heard lately. Coolness.
I saw the Snakes play in gig at TT Blues, which of course was an awesome performance (Which include their cover of 'Knocking on Heaven's door') with Dan as their opening act.
Kinda brings back my passion for music again. I should start performing myself.
For now, I'll have to work with the music club for now and prepare for the carnival.

Currently 7:28pm
Bored.
Mom gave me lessons on driving this morning. Nearly getting the knack of it.
English AS exam tomorrow, and an Equinox article to finish.
Currently broke.
Hoping to get out and watch a movie sometime.
Accident today. 3 cars, saw an ambulance pass us.
Might see it in the newspaper tomorrow.
Hope they're okay.

Photo Blog 06: Friends in a lifetime
*Arif Ebil, now with 'cool' beard look.*
*Hafiz says "Keju!", and surprisingly, a now much taller Zulhilmi in the same frame.*
*(the infamous 3rd)Khalil, still camera shy, had to take it with great momentum.*
*Teen & FieFie, more like sisters than cousins!*
*Amy & Yusri, old pals from Sunshine School. Now going out together.*
*Alvin, now larger ("Azzi am I tall or you're getting shorter?" he said)*
The sports festival today became a reunion for us. Shocks left and right, crying here and there.
Yeah, a very joyful occasion..
I should have taken Dee's photo *sigh*

Let me be by your side
I don't know if you realized,
but I like you
and that I've been afraid
to say it lately.
I don't know if you realized,
but this poem
is dedicated to you
and to everyone like me.
I don't know if they realized,
but try your best
and let out your feelings
as beautiful as it can be.
I don't know if I realized,
but I should have,
reading this poem to you
is a risk a fool takes
Everyone should realize by now,
that this poem is a confession
and that the poet is saying
"Let me be by your side?"
Let me by your side,
For me to realize I'm not alone
not many actually realize
that there's always someone who cares.

We loved it after all
After our 1 point lost last Saturday, some of the people in school were a little disappointed. I had to assure them it was definitely a game hard fought.
After school, I met my team mates and there we gathered where we stand. We talked about our antics, the crazy things we did, laugh about the injuries we got,
The teamwork,
The magnificient tries,
The successful strategies,
The feeling we had when we felt like winning again.
The game did not drive our spirit away, instead it rose to the highest pillars of power.
It was definitely the best game we ever played.
My tutors were oblivious of the sport. I remember one of my tutors said, "I'm really against playing Rugby, but there are New Zealanders who are crazy of the sport! (apparently, he's refering to my coaches. haha)

An Account of 'Outings'
Dress for a dinner?
or maybe some lasagna?
Lie down on some quiet field, stare at the vast sky?
or a movie in the darkness of the cinema?
A friendly chat over past happenings?
or an intimate walk,
with no destination whatsoever,
in locked hands, or arms?
admire her dress?
admire her shoes?
I've decided, I think I'll give her a call,
or a text message?
or a miss call?
What am I, nervous or confused?
*Sigh* so much to do for a smile.

Lost against Awang Semaun by 1 point. We were doing so well, until the very last minute 2 players from the opposition ran SO FAST to score tries.
It was agonising, a 1 point difference.
But if you were there, you'll see how we managed to work together.
It was beautiful! We finally have the teamwork we did during training! If only you were there to see it!
I arrived late into the game (after carelessly not checking my phone occasionally) and PTEB had already lost one try. And for some reason when I came in, we gained 2 tries and a couple more.
I was labelled a hero, can you believe that?
T-Rex was our ace today, but got a leg injury in the last half of the game. Along with Sofian, our scrum-half, who also had to be carried out of the field. Alot of undiscipline as usual from the opposition (got a headbutt, ouch!).
Overall, it was a great display of sportmanship. We all had great fun!
Next match: Against the feared KB Pythons!

Rugby training was excellent. We're finally pushing further away from playing Rugby as a contact and more into it as a thinking game.
Practice interesting strategy last Wednesday, where backs and forwards work together in a complex work of rucking and strategy. It was raining hard then and we worked hard, too bad for the turnout.
Huhaa for Fidz, who isn't going to Australia. Everyone's happy.
Now we can go out for that Beach Picnic that we've been planning, haha!
And to force evreyone to try out my "Super Delicious Fried Rice" HUHAA!
Exams coming soon, and all I think about is should I go out with you-know-who again this holiday, or not..?

We were frustrated.
I was angry from night till morning, then I mouth off about how pathetic we played the game.
We blamed the enthusiasm of the Forwards.
Then we blamed the broken Backs formation.
After that, the player's ego.
Then the seniors, and the captain.
In the end, after all that search for a scapegoat, I calmed myself down and pondered.
Why am I searching fault in everyone when I didn't see my own?
Didn't I leave the match 10 minutes during the second half?
And blame it on the heat?
My teammates gathered and we finally talked out our frustrations, then ended with one conclusion: we didn't play our best.
So we all agreed to play harder, and to show our next opponents the true colours of the PTEB Pirates, and the best of our abilities.

August
Rugby training started again.
Funny, I didn't feel any muscle pains. Maybe because of the exercise I've been doing.. sweet!
Next Tuesday, we'll be doing more training in Berakas Camp.
Next day.. Knights Match.
I hope the informal training we've been doing improves our playing style and determination, and at least taught us to trust each other.
I admit, the fatal flaw of the team is ego. Ego destroys formation, and in turn destroys chances of winning. It's proven that we can't match strength of our forwards, so I believe 'formation' and our 'backs' are the key to defeating the Knights.
Now, the next problem is how to tell this to my teammates?
