Before Puasa
Not for the faint hearted (those who cannot withstand the sight of food or even the word 'FOOD' itself!)
Again with Tradition. Surprisingly, the day before Ramadhan is treated like an ocassional holiday farewell party. What is amazing, however, is that it's happening in different cliques.

Fizah enjoying her macaroni.

and the very gorgeous Zirah eating her cake ^^

On Zulle's table is a feast of nasi katok!

Nabilah's table, however, is over the top! Lasagne, fried foods, cake..

But on my table, what else than Fidsy's AWESOME CHEESECAKE!

Zaty's table getting ready to gorge themselves to satisfaction.
I apologise to everyone who is aching for Sungkai ^_^

Fakhriah! The latest addition of the coolest people I know. Behind this cold (can I add evil?) exterior lies a heart of pure fun. She can spin off sarcasm at any time and one of the few who can withstand the lameness and randomness of my jokes. Fakhriah's other speciality is she can last minutes in a battle of mom jokes with Dan ^_^

To Fakhriah: Ok, you might think this is very random but I needed something to mark the occasion. Really, I ran out of ideas.
But then you said how are we friends if we never hung out?
The fact is.. I DON'T CARE ^_^

Class photo
PTEB has its own tradition. My years in secondary school wasn't a pleasant experience, but I made my way through. I remember how class photos were all formal and unexciting. Only in PTEB, you make your own greatest experience.

What's one of those traditions in PTEB? My first year in college I was a frightful boy with no sense of direction, but there are things that are new to you. I remember my first free pose photo. It came as a big surprise but we understood and play along. That was one of our fun orientations.
Now, tradition is embedded into our blood. Teachers and Students alike. Once the camera man starts saying "FREE POSE!", that's our cue to show how much we feel for PTEB.

Wild Side of Life in PTEB
Another collection of photos from the wild side of life in PTEB. What lead these ordinary human beings into a state of hysteria? The real question is: Were they ordinary in the first place? Isn't it funny that you'll find most of the weirdest people sit on the right side of the canteen? Me included! Enjoy the pictures ^_^

Effy's smiley sticker. "It's for everyone I love." Thank you Effy ^_^

They just popped out of nowhere! Looking at these flowers reminds me of my time when I was in Japan. Spring in Japan is like heaven on earth.

Kyrul's birthday ages ago. Why is he called "Fuchow"?

Hey, it was a cheese cake to cry for! Atleast the oreo cakes available ^_^

O_O Zaidah is apparently enjoying her cake..

Mia's kid sister ^_^ Let's just say we changed roles and she sits crosslegged while I have excrutiating pain between my legs!

The Nazi. Hungry and ready to kill ^_^

The boys fooling around. Interested in learning 'Abu-keet'?

The Coven of Witches drooling over a poster. Girls dream on!

Big Farewell to the Gentle Giant
My fun moments are mostly in my sociology class, ranging from the hilarious projects we did and the games we played the day before the holidays. So it did come as a shocker when we heard Ckg Hadi was leaving. Next to the planned dinner we were holding at Capers, Ckg Hadi keeps surprising is to the end with his pastries ^_^

Sayonara Ckg Hadi! Hope we'll see you again!
Sayonara Ckg Hadi! Hope we'll see you again!
It's World Kinky Day!
"Have you heard of the 'Three Words' game?" said the gentle giant. Even after reminding us about the dreadful homework we're having during the holidays, Ckg Hadi has always room to play group games.
Our first holiday last year, we played the murder game.
Now we play the Three word game.
"It's easy," he said. "All you have to do is come up with three words in a sentence and build up a story. You can go as wild as you want."
So we took turns to write down the wackiest stuff that comes to mind on the whiteboard.
"There was a little pink pony with a g-string which looks kinky and ate butterflies that taste like chocolate vanilla cream that she bought at HuaHo mall where a travestite started farting excessively. It's credit expired, therefore decided to borrow money from *CENSORED* who happened to be walking along the bra 'first night' section with special discount before purchasing a silky black gown for her cat. The girl then had liposuction with Dr Sexy Bonjovi whose hands are amputated with gangrene and fake tan. He started making prosthetic hands using colourful undies that uses bio-degradeble plastic which helps saves the feelings of kinkiness. World Kinky Day is celebrated every 14th June until enough 'sexy-time' is obtained by each dance by Maisara with a song sung by Danial which goes like "Oh you touch my tralala. Oh my dingdingdong".

How I started history: The Equinox COMIC CONTEST
Those of you might have heard of The Equinox COMIC CONTEST. That groovy new contest that just popped out of nowhere...
Here's the story: It all started when PTEB reached second place in the Badminton Tournament, and the first few things The Flying Monkey Mina talked about was "I want an apprentice for Equinox!"
Mina had gained popularity as the creator of PTE Fight Skool comic strip for the newsletter that will eventually become one of the most controversial topics ever debated. However, the Flying Monkey is strong willed! She kept on drawing random comic strips until the chance of retirement arrives.
So I brought up the idea that we should start a new kind of cool contest to find a suitable heir ofr her in conjunction with the Equinox Essay writing and Logo design contest. A contest that will give opportunities for inspirational artists to present their work. Thus, the first ever Comic Contest was born.
It's amazing how much we can do if we simply asked! With permission from Ms Maday, the teacher-in-charge of the Equinox Newsletter, and some advertising designs, I was able to bring the Equinox Comic Contest to fruitation. Thanks to Ms Maday for her suggestion of some spots to post the ads and using coloured paper to attract readers.
Though the Flying Monkey was there to help, I was placed as the sole organiser of the Contest. You'll find me in a number of occasions to moderate the entries in the libary (so far, around 10 entries. Enough to pick a winner). It was great to see some works that are going for the win, juniors and seniors alike.
One of the few ideas I did was to post SAMPLES to give the participants an idea of how to present it. I used different styles to make each SAMPLE AD unique thought it is signed by the same artist.
My first one was an action scene in Rugby. I thought it would not go well with the Vice Principal due to its brutish look, but it was stamped and signed eventually, giving way to the first introduction to the Comic Contest.
Everyone I drew it, blowing any chance to hide my Armored Bear persona. So here's a shocker to all of you! I also drew the second one.
Most of the people in PTEB never realised this. Maybe because I drew it in a more simplified style and cleaned it up before I posted them. I think the real reason was the fact that I drew a love themed comic which is very difficult to relate me to.
With a little help with the photoshop, I was able to put some dialogue ^_^
I was inspired to draw the third one when I had the Blankets graphic novel. It's been a big idea I had for months. It was a perfect time to release it though. The 2005 tobacco act had taken effect and it was good chance to get some winning impressions.
This one was exclusive for the 40th Equinox edition. Surprisingly, this issue became a hit as it provided more visuals in it. Either it was because of Mina's Exam Tips comic strip, or is it the Anti-Smoking Ad that was the final advertisement for the Contest? Either way, we gained more profits last Saturday compared to any other days. Until now, it's still puzzling ^_^
Thanks to Wiseman, for inking and not make it into anotehr boring poster.
The Equinox Comic Contest will end this Saturday. I can't wait to see the best ones out. I don't even know what the prizes are..
The slogan for this year's Comic Contest:
"So what are you waiting for?"
Seems another Contest popped up out of nowhere too. The Photography contest ^_^

A rough draft of my work. Better still, I'd leave it this way because I prefer it messy than absolutely clean. The Rugby field gets down and dirty alot! ~ Armored Bear

I enjoy novel-like comic books. They tend to force you to read every word, bit by bit instead of of scanning through the pictures. ~ Armored Bear

I like looking through the pages of graphic novels for symbolisms. They usually require a deep insight on the page itself. Using smoke as a metaphor for life can make any Anti-smoking Ad look interesting. ~ Armored Bear
