20th Birthday Cake

There were two chocolate cakes during my 20th Birthday, both with mine and Zani's names on delicious chocolate. We started on the first cake when Saffuan T-Rex arrived with candles lit up and brought to Zani much to his surprise. We sang the Birthday song but the candles were already blown off by the air conditioner. It's not so bad because the chocolate cake was delicious enough to die for.

We were already munching half of the cake when we forgot to take the picture. You could see part of the flat chocolate bitten off by moi. Happy Birthday to Zani and I even though its already a week. I'm thinking of getting myself a birthday gift once my allowance arrives. An IPod would be nice unless there's somebody being generous *hint*

Happy Birthday Jessica

A big birthday greet to my best friend. It's been awhile since I made a birthday greeting on my blog, but to make up for mixing up her birthday last year (3rd with 23rd, sadly mistaken) I thought I'd post this greet here on my blog, and maybe talk about Jessie for a bit.

Jessica turns 20 today

Jessie is apparently really sociable and isn't afraid to get to know people as weird as they are. Her hobbies include drawing but she's currently taking up writing stories like I did. She is studying in UBD and has just taken up Japanese classes. We share a common interest for manga and we would always create commentaries and discussions on the Japanese culture. I think what makes her a special friend is her ability to listen to anybody, a gift that not many people have.

Best friends for seven years. A friendship that survived being rocky in many occasions. The kind Jessie would call a Cat and Mouse friendship where I'm the cat with the goatee. Here's to turning 20, Jesse.

Happy Birthday Safrizan

Well we did have that "surprise" birthday party at Capers. And we did give a big "FUDGE YOU" for coming in late. But tell you what Saf, it's not one of those stories you put in FML.com. Turning 20 is not that scary (unlike some people who still think life ends at 20). We both understand that turning 20 can be fun. I mean like it's still one year before legal age right?

Happy 49th Birthday to Dad

We tend to see age like fine wine. We grow wiser and finer as the years past, and this is especially true for my dad. Of course, the very mention of the number 49 might have him claw his grey head with anxiety but the truth is we know how to age gracefully.

Here is to Dad, who is fortunate enough to see his daughter turn 20 in Japan, his sons grow facial hair and his genius youngest daughter gain prizes. It's a celebration tonight!

Jordine's Birthday Beach Party

Went to Muara Beach on Sunday. Naturally it's packed because the next day the schools reopen. So why not end the holidays with some fun! (Instead of sitting at home doing your homework which you were supposed to finish earlier.) The occasion? It's Jordine's 18th Birthday.

A toast to Jordine, who like many others wonder what might happen now the 'legal' age has come. Does it mean more responsibilities? Or more freedom? Sometimes others might feel the Peter Pan syndrome, they want to stay as kids forever but soon they will inevitably become adults. I say don't be scared of the future! Fight it head on and race for that sunshine!
