A Day Out with Teen and Fifah

Friday, December 5, 2008
I would like to thank Teen and Fifah for joining me yesterday. We watched Bolt that day then watched the Japanese Drum show after that. Most of the time we talked about life in MD and PTEB, mostly comparing. We also talked mostly about Jessie who we really wanted to join us (sadly, she's busy by then). We did gave her a surprise phone call so it really felt she was there.

Teen and Fifah, cousins but more like sisters ^^

So yesterday at 4.30pm there was a Japanese drum show from the Japanese Embassy. The moment the drum was hit, the bass filled the mall with glorious surprise and Japanese atmosphere. It felt like a scene from the Matrix, but the grace and teamwork I saw was miraclously beautiful.

The start of the ceremony begins with a "DHUM!"

Then the women come in and it becomes a Rave party.

Crowd participation!

I really want to bring Jessie out because it's been a long time since we hung out. So Jessie, if you're reading this, let me know if you're free for Christmas so we can catch The Spirit. Cheers everybody!
