Have I really grown up?

A conversation today with a friend

She said, "There's someone I like"

If I was the boy I was last year, I wouldn't have heard this remark with a straight face.

"That's nice", I said.

I would panic though. We've known each other for five years.
It is a good thing though. It just proves how much I've matured over the years.
