Something I found out in a review. I combined both pages to form one image to illustrate a point. I remember in the book Craig and Raina discuss religion and philosophy while alone in their room. Raina tells Craig that, "You know, sometimes you look at me with longing... even though I'm here with you."
The mirror style of the presentation fits the intimate moment between the two. However, the different images inside the frames portray a reference to Adam and Eve. Craig discusses Lust while a hand reaches down towards the page directing to Raina. Inside the frame, Craig takes the role as Adam surrounded by demonic forces which includes a pervert from his previous memories. In the next page, however, Raina discusses Temptation while a drawing of a hand is presenting an apple towards Craig who is seated in the upper part of the page. The image inside the frame is Raina in the role of Eve with the Forbidden tree in the background.
I see it as fitting to the honesty that the two show about their relationship. Though throughout the story we are unsure about Raina's future after the graphic novel ends, we see this as a development in the way we interpret Raina's character. Nevertheless, this is one of the most intimate discussions that two shared.
Oh yeah, the next line in the next page:
"That I might want you even more".
