Chasing Pavements

"What you're chasing is you're chasing an empty pavement," was Adele's words to describe a lone run on a long stretch of sidewalk after a difficult moment. Mainly the song is about infatuation. What if you decided that you are in love? Would you keep running away or would you finally tell the person you love how you really feel?


I think everyone needs a song to cheer them up. The A level results may have taken the strength from most of us but I try to be optimistic. So here's to all of you who are still running to escape the pain. There is no need to keep on chasing pavements when it leads nowhere.
